Following an introduction email and discussion, an appointment will be carried out online via video call.

Who do we work with?

1. Free consultation

Get in touch with us for an informal chat about any concerns with your speech and language skills. We will ask you to complete a form before advising on the next steps.

2. Initial Assessment

We start with an assessment to evaluate your current speech and language skills. This is followed with a report summarising your strengths and weaknesses.

3. Report and recommendations

We will recommend next steps based on your initial assessment. In some cases, further therapy may be required to support your speech and language development.

4. Therapy sessions

We plan a range of activities, exercises and games designed to target your therapy goals. Parents, partners and other key people are encouraged to take part in the sessions.

Who do we work with?

Our speech and language therapists provide treatment and support for children and adults with communication difficulties.

  • Speech sound difficulties (difficulty saying specific sounds or sounds getting mixed up)
  • Language difficulties (difficulty understanding and using words)

We work with adults who, for physical or psychological reasons, have difficulties with speech, language and communication. These may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Acquired communication problems following, including stroke, head injury, Parkinson's disease and dementia
  • Aphasia (difficulty understanding or producing language)
  • Apraxia (difficulty co-ordinating the muscles used to form words)

Schools and Care Settings

We work collaboratively with staff members to encourage the identification and support of service users with speech, language and communication needs.

Parents and carers

    • An Internet connection

Check out our reviews from clients and other professionals below:

"During my time working in Thailand and Southeast Asia, Helen provided a crucial perspective on the speech, language and communication abilities of the students I supported. We worked together on several cases which proved invaluable in helping me to formulate the needs of the young person more accurately. Helen had a wonderful rapport with the children and young people she worked with. Therefore, I recommend her without hesitation”

“I have become more conscious of my own communication and the effect this has on my child. I am also engaging with her more than I normally would as a result”
